Andre Williams – Andre was born and raised in Indianapolis. He attended and graduated from DePauw University with a BLA in Theatre where he focused his studies on dance theatre. Andre started his dance career with the birth of Phoenix Rising Dance Company in 2015. This will be his fourth season with the company. He wants to give huge thanks to Justin and Will for their tremendous support and friendship.

Kylie Williams – Kylie began dancing at the age of three and hasn’t stopped since. Born and raised in Indianapolis, she danced at a variety of different schools where she trained, competed and perfected her craft. She attended Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA, and received her Bachelor’s in Dance Performance with a concentration in Modern. Since Graduation, Kylie has moved back to her hometown where she teaches dance, yoga, and pilates. She is so ecstatic to be dancing in Indy with Phoenix Rising Dance Company. This will be Kylie’s sixth show with the company. She wants to thank her family, yoga community, and Phoenix Rising Dance, Justin and Will Sears-Watson, the donors, dancers and crew for their continuous encouragement.

Katie Lea – Originally from Fishers, and currently living in Indianapolis, Katie found her love of dance at her home studio, the Academy of Dance Arts. In 2018, Katie graduated with her BFA in Contemporary Dance from Indiana University. She is excited to be performing in her fourth concert and second season with Phoenix Rising Dance Company as well as teaching ballet for Phoenix Rising Dance Studios. When she isn’t rehearsing or teaching, she loves hot yoga, spicy food and works in Event Sales and Event Managing for The Balmoral House in Fishers. Katie would like to thank Justin for taking her into the Phoenix Family and for challenging her this past year. She would also love to thank her big sister, Ally, for being her rock and best friend.

Morgan Johnson – Morgan grew up dancing in Greenwood, IN and currently resides in Fishers. She owes her love of dance to Stage 1 Dance Academy. Morgan received her BFA in Contemporary Dance and her minor in small business management from Indiana University in Bloomington. She currently teaches dance education to children and loves sharing the art form with young minds. Morgan joined Phoenix Rising Dance Company in December 2018 with this being her fourth production with the company. She is eager for everyone to see the different and intriguing production that is “Suspirium”. Morgan wants to thank all of her friends, family, fellow dancers, and Justin and Will Sears-Watson for their endless love and support along the way.

Amanda Okolo – From Arlington, Texas and currently residing in Carmel, Amanda is an epidemiologist at the Indiana Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center. Amanda is an accomplished aerial performer and instructor at Cirque Indy and Chrome Fitness. This will be Amanda’s third show with the company. She is thrilled to be dancing with the company and to be bringing this work to life. Amanda would like to thank Justin and Will for the opportunity to dance with the company, all the company dancers and her supportive family and friends.

Sawyer Harvey – Sawyer grew up dancing in Beech Grove and has been working with Phoenix Rising Dance Company and Phoenix Rising Dance Studios for two years. After a short hiatus from the Phoenix Stage, he received his BFA in Dance Performance from Ball State University. He is excited to return for the production of Suspirium. Sawyer encourages all audience members and advocates to remain involved with the vastly growing arts community in Indianapolis by Supporting local artists.

Sarah Butts – From Battle Creek, Michigan, but now living in Fishers, Sarah received her BA in Dance Performance from Anderson University in 2018. Since then, Sarah has taught for multiple studios and performed in showcases through the mid-west, including The Louisville Dance Series and Flourish. Sarah joined the company in February of 2019, dancing in the Company’s first production of “The Chakras”. Sarah is excited for the growth of the Company and is so thankful for her family, friends, and mentors who have and continue to support her through her career.

Corey McKenzie – Corey is from Indianapolis and is still flourishing here today. He is a graduate of Grambling State University in Grambling, Louisiana, where he primarily studied Horton Technique, jazz and ballet. This is Corey’s first concert with Phoenix Rising Dance Company as an apprentice. He’d like to thank Dianne Maroney-Grigsby for introducing him to the art of dance while he was in college.

Amanda Browning – Originally from Bloomington, IL, Amanda received her BFA in dance with honors from Belhaven University in Jackson, MS. Since then, Amanda has had the opportunity to perform with companies such as Ad Deum, Kim Robards Dance, Moving Collective and Crossroads Dance. Outside of the studio, Amanda works as a health and fitness coach. Amanda is excited to be joining Phoenix Rising for the first time in their production of Suspirium and is incredibly grateful for the continuous support from her family.
